What is FreeNet 24?    FreeNet 24 is literally Freedom's Internet branch office.  Using FreeNet 24 service and public Internet access, you can view a variety of data and perform transactions on your Freedom accounts.  You can even download this data into certain software packages to use as you wish.  You may also elect to pay your bills electronically using our eBill Payer option.  Now you can retrieve your account statements electronically as well as view images of all cleared checks.

OK … what exactly can you  do using FreeNet 24?

  • Review account balances,
  • Review and download account history,
  • Review cleared checks,
  • Transfer funds between accounts you own or co-own,
  • Request check withdrawals from accounts,
  • Re-order checks,
  • Issue stop payment instructions,
  • Send confidential messages, requests, and information in a secured environment,
  • Pay bills electronically,
  • Receive statements electronically and
  • View images of cleared checks.

Take Advantage of
our eBillPayer, too!
FREE - with
unlimited payments!

What does FreeNet 24 access cost?    Nothing.  That's right … it's absolutely FREE to any member who requests it. Our eBillPayer electronic bill payment option carries NO monthly charge.  This entitles you to pay an unlimited number of bills for no charge … no writing checks, no envelope, no postage, no inconvenience of mailing, etc..
Security is important ... what steps has Freedom taken to ensure the privacy and security of account data?

Security is an issue in any of today's Internet based commerce.  We are sensitive to all member privacy and security concerns … including those related to Internet branching.  Here are a few of the basic security features built into FreeNet 24:

  • use of unique and randomly generated User ID numbers and Passwords,
  • required encryption of all data transmitted,
  • issuance of transaction confirmation numbers to member email addresses,
  • deployment of multiple business grade firewalls to discourage hacking,
  • maintenance of the FreeNet 24 website within a secured server environment … and separate from Freedom's data processing system,
  • continuous network monitoring to detect would be intruders, and
  • a fundamental system design which transmits incomplete or unidentifiable packages of data … for example, Freedom will not transmit your full name, account number or social security number.
And there's more… but just for good measure, we'll keep some things to ourselves!
